Festival of Vishu was celebrated on 24th April at Virginia Community Hall, Virginia. The event was vibrant and colourful with live music performances, dance, Vishu Kani etc. The spectacular Pookkalam (decorative flower carpet) was a team work by the community members and other multicultural groups. The highlight of the event was the Kanivellari, a Vishukaineettam , presented to all members. NSSA is grateful to all the volunteers who assisted in organising the logistics, setting up the stage and photography. NSSA women wing proudly served the traditional Kerala Sadya to a large number, exactly 176 attendees of this event. The participation of various Indian communities added more flavor to this event.
