Sri Mannathu Padmanabhan instilled a sense of direction in the Nair community by organizing the people under the banner of Nair Service Society, a service organization equipped and committed to the cause of providing modern education, a positive outlook, a sense of purpose to the society. His vision and guidance led to the establishment of various educational institutions, hospitals, and other socially beneficial institutions all over the state of Kerala (India).
The Nair community, The N.S.S (Adelaide Region), follows the same footsteps, vision and path of Sri Mannathu Padmanabhan, to contribute and extend its commitment towards the welfare of the society.

Honouring Senior Malayalee Nursing Community NSSA has the privilege of honouring the services of Senior Nurses from the Malayalee community. The Nursing Malayalee community have been in the forefront looking after the sick and suffering globally .and has been in the forefront of health care. It is a unique opportunity for NSSA to recognise the outstanding services of this dedicated professionals during this period of Covid pandemic. They fight to save lives risking their own. Their services will be always remembered very dearly by our organisation and we deem it as an honour and privilege to felicitate and recognise them while we get together to celebrate the Diwali Fest.
The Lions Club, Golden Grove, approached NSSA for organising a fundraising event. The event is tentatively scheduled for 30th April 2022 to raise $10,000 for the Australian Refugee Association Youth specific services. More details to be posted once the event details are finalised.
